Apple pay has become a common means of payment in most countries. It is one of the most preferred digital wallet services in the world presently and is only available for users of Apple devices such as iPhones, Mac, and smartwatches.
It enables users to use their phones basically for transactions and doesn’t need to carry their cards and cash around for making payments and receiving money.
Although Apple pay has numerous benefits it is still blacklisted by some companies for reasons best known to them
Stores That Don’t Accept Apple Pay Include
1.Walmart:
Walmart is a big retail store in America. They don’t use Apple Pay services, because they have their own contactless payment service, which is the Walmart pay, and most of their customers use it in doing business transactions with them.
2. Home Depot:
Home depot is also one of the big retail stores in America. They don’t use Apple pay because they already have a standing contract with PayPal service and can’t just leave PayPal for Apple pay without terminating the contract with PayPal
3. Lowe’s
Lowe’s stores does not use Apple Pay or any NFC payments, because they are yet to acquire the technology. NFC payment technology are expensive to install and operate in stores and retail outlets
4. Kroger:
Kroger first tried to use Apple pay in 2020. They later reconsidered it and invented the Kroger pay, which is now used in all of its stores and outlets
5. Sam’s Club
Sam’s club does not use Apple Pay. They don’t use the payment service because of their high charges, which are higher than the charges of a normal credit card transactions
Other stores that do not accept Apple pay include
- Gordon Food services
- Kmart
- Dick’s sporting goods
- Others.
Is Apple Pay The Future
Apple pay has reached many parts of the world and list of countries that use Apple pay includes- Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Bahrain, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Macau, Mexico, New Zealand, Palestine, Peru, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, the United Arab Emirates and so many others.
As you can see Apple pay is already being recognized in most parts of the world and more countries are joining this list we can say Apple pay could be one of the future payment systems that would be used worldwide.

CONCLUSIONS:
Apple Pay is preferred by most people as a means of payment (because it is convenient and flexible), but most store still do not accept Apple Pay. Some of the reasons are- because it’s expensive to install, it is demanding on the retail store and other stores have their own contactless payment services
