Samsung Galaxy S10e Summary
Samsung Galaxy S10e smartphone was launched in February 2019. The phone comes with a 5.80-inch touchscreen display. It comes in Prism White, Prism Black, Prism Green, Prism Blue, Canary Yellow, and Flamingo Pink color.
Samsung s-series is the flagship Samsung phone and over the past couple years, Samsung releases two flagships in a year – a regular and plus size. But this year, the company introduced a third one to the flagship line that is a little cheaper than the regular flagship called the s10e.
Design
The Galaxy S10e is the smallest of the three new Galaxy S10 flagship models. The size of the phone is truly amazing and impossible not to like. It is incredibly comfortable to hold and the rounded edges aren’t abrasive on the skin. It has an aluminum and glass back which is a bit slippery when used with one hand, and this phone is a fingerprints magnet.
The Galaxy S10e has a Bixby button, which is programmable to trigger other functions too. You can set the double-press or single-press actions to either launch an app or trigger a Bixby Routine.
The Samsung galaxy s10e unlike the more premium Galaxy s10 models with ultrasonic fingerprint sensors has a standard capacitive one integrated into its power button on the right. It’s highly sensitive, and even a quick touch is enough to unlock the phone. You can also enable gestures for easier access to the notification shade. The power button is in a comfortable position and easy to reach when holding the phone normally.
Display and Design
The Samsung Galaxy S10e has a 5.8-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display. The resolution comes a bit lower than the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ at just 1080 x 2280 pixels. The Galaxy S10e has Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back, whereas its bigger siblings have Gorilla Glass 6 on the front and Gorilla Glass 5 on the back. The display has hole-punch for the front camera which isn’t too distracting and would easily be forgotten after a day of use.
One of the big design differences with the Galaxy S10e is the lack of curved display edges on the left and right side. Instead, the display is flat.
The back of the phone houses only the dual camera setup and looks simple and minimalistic.
The Samsung galaxy s10e ditches the recent trend and have just at the bottom, a 3.5mm headphone jack. It bottom also has USB-C for fast charging and quick transfer of files.
Samsung Galaxy S10e specifications and features and battery
