Samsung Galaxy S10+ shares similarities with the Samsung Galaxy S10. It was launched in February 2019. The phone comes with a 6.40-inch touchscreen display and was launched in Prism White, Prism Black, Prism Green, Prism Blue, Canary Yellow, Flamingo Pink, Ceramic Black, Ceramic White, Cardinal Red, Smoke Blue colors. It features an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and an IP68 rating for dust and water protection up to 1.5m for 30mins. The Samsung Galaxy S10+ is a dual-SIM smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM cards.
Performance and Battery
Samsung Galaxy S10+ is powered by a 1.9GHz Octa-core Samsung Exynos 9820 SoC processor. It comes with 12GB of RAM and 128/512GB or 1TB of internal storage which is expandable with a microSD card of up to 1TB.
The phone runs on One UI based on Android 9.0 Pie and is powered by a 4,100mAh non-removable battery. The Samsung Galaxy S10+ supports fast charging and fast wireless charging.
The Samsung Galaxy S10+ features Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G network with active 4G on both SIM cards. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The Samsung Galaxy S10+ supports face unlock.
Design and Display
The Samsung Galaxy S10plus comes in five finishes and uses two different materials for the back panel. If you opt for the base configuration with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, you can choose between Prism White, Prism Black, and Prism Blue. If you want the ceramic finishes, you can buy this phone with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage in Ceramic Black, or pick the top-end Ceramic White option with a whopping 12GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The Galaxy S10+ has the SIM and MicroSD card tray at the top along with a microphone. At the bottom, it has a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a loudspeaker, along with the primary microphone.
The back houses only the horizontally aligned triple camera setup with an LED flashlight. It has a heart rate and oxygen saturation sensors are placed in the same module alongside the LED flash and just underneath is the bold and beautiful Samsung logo. You won’t find a traditional fingerprint scanner at the back of this smartphone. Instead, Samsung has gone for an ultrasonic in-display sensor.
The left side houses the Bixby button and the volume rockers, and the right side is the power button.
The Samsung Galaxy S10plus has a 6.4-inch infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED touchscreen display. The oval-shaped hole is in the upper right corner of the screen houses a dual camera setup. And just like the previous S-series, Samsung has curved the sides of this phone’s frame which makes it easy to hold, and at the same time helps the display and the glass back merge seamlessly.
As for the camera, the Samsung Galaxy S10 on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 12MP primary camera, a second 12MP telephoto camera, and a third 16MP wide-angle camera. The camera setup has phase detection autofocus. The device also features a 10MP front-facing selfie camera.
