Samsung Galaxy M20 design
Released on February 2019, this Samsung phone looks and feels like its junior, the Samsung Galaxy M10 when placed side by side (the Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M10), you’ll see that they look identical. The design is minimal and has a glossy finish, and it even comes in the same colors as the M10 which are Ocean Blue, and Charcoal Black
DESIGN and DISPLAY
Having striking similarities with the Galaxy M10 in terms of design, the Galaxy M20 has an infinity-V display notch at the top of the screen, which houses the front-facing camera. It has a 6.3 inches PLS TFT capacitive touchscreen display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It also keeps to current trend with the rounded corners. The bottom part of the screen has a bit of a chin, and the screen has an 83.6% screen-to-body ratio.
The back panel of the device was curved to fill the side of the device, making it smooth and seamless. Despite being glossy, the back of this phone is not all that slippery. The volume rocker and the power button are located on the right side, the SIM card and microSD card on the left, and on the bottom is a USB-C, the 3.5mm headphone jack, and the speakers. The Galaxy M20 has a fingerprint sensor on the rear, which is a bit high to reach when trying to unlock the device with your finger. Also on the back is a dual-camera setup with a Flashlight
The device comes with a massive 5000mAh battery, which is excellent and runs on One UI based on Android 8.1.
CAMERA
The rear dual-camera setup comes with a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP ultrawide camera. And the top of the display housed an 8MP front-facing camera. Interestingly, both the rear and the front-facing cameras shot up to [email protected] video recording.
Overall, the smartphone was made to suit the public, and with a small price of around 45,000 – 55,000 naira, it is effortless for anyone to get their hands on this device.
