Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Price and Accessibilty Review
The Galaxy Tab S8 can be purchased from Amazon or in other electronic retail stores as well.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Design Review
The 11in Tab S8 display is the smallest in the Tab S8 range. Note that it isn’t a mini model. It’s light and slim though just 6.3mm thick, which is a little more than the Ultra but remains impressively slender.
At roughly 10 x 6.5 x 0.2 inches and 1.1 pounds, the Tab S8 feels comfortable to hold, even during long gaming stints or reading on the couch.
The Tab S8 strikes an excellent balance between portability and utility with its large, but manageable, 11-inch display.
Right behind the device you’ll find a slight bump that houses the rear camera, as well as a magnetized strip where you can attach the included S Pen stylus to charge it. At the bottom edge of the tablet is a USB-C port for charging or connecting accessories. The display is coated in protective Gorilla Glass 5.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Camera Review
In the aspect of cameras, the Galaxy Tab S8 has a great set of cameras for an Android tablet. There’s a 12MP ultra-wide selfie cam, and on the back are a 13 MP auto-focus lens and a 6MP ultra-wide lens.
All the cameras can record video at up to 4k resolution and 60 frames per second, and the front-facing camera has a new auto-framing feature that automatically adjusts the shot to try and keep you in frame if you move around. The rear cameras do a great job of capturing detail and color accurately.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Performance Review
The Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip gives the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 plenty of power for most tasks, and the 8GB of RAM helps make running and navigating between apps feel snappy and responsive.
You have zero experience of laggng, slowdown, crashing, or other performance issues while using the Tab S8. Turning to graphics, the Tab S8 hit 57 frames per second (fps) on the Wild Life Unlimited test.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Battery Life and Charging Review
The Galaxy Tab S8 doesn’t burn through battery power too quickly, with a battery capacity of 8000mAh. It charges at a pace of 45W, and achieves a 100% in 80 min.
When fully charged the battery can last up to a day or two despite constant usage. It can carry you through your day not withstanding the activity being carried out on it.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Software Review
The Tab S8 ships with Android 12, running Samsung’s OneUI with a number of enhancements from Samsung to support the S Pen and deliver superior integration with Samsung phones, smartwatches and earbuds.
You have full multi-window app functionality and the ability to customize your desktop apps and wallpaper for Dex Mode versus the standard tablet mode.
The Galaxy Tab is, to some degree, the only game in town when it comes to Android tablets. However, if you are looking for a tablet for watching videos, taking notes, surfing the web and some light productivity work, the Galaxy Tab S8 is an excellent choice that will not disappoint.
