Samsung Galaxy M21 Price and Accessibility Review
The Galaxy M21 announce in July 21, 2021 comes with a starting price of $210. The phone can be purchased via Samsung websites, Amazon and other retail stores.
Samsung Galaxy M21 Design Review
The Samsung Galaxy M21 offers a very good build quality. It is quite rigid. Due to the rounded edges, the smartphone is comfortable to hold in the hand. However, the back is still very susceptible to fingerprints.
In general, the Galaxy M21 covers most essentials; Gorilla Glass 3 scratch resistance, dedicated card slot, USB Type-C charging port, and audio jack are all there. The Galaxy M21 isn’t very premium in its feel, but it’s very well designed for a big battery phone and covers most basics.
Samsung Galaxy M21 Camera Review
Samsung Galaxy M21 comes with a triple cameras on the rear. The primary camera is a 48MP sensor (as against 64MP on Galaxy M31) and it’s accompanied by an 8MP wide-angle shooter and a 5MP depth sensor.
The 48-megapixel main camera behind the device supports pixel binning, which allows four adjacent pixels to act as one. This improves photo quality.
The photographs taken with the main camera are on a good level for a device in this price range. The colour reproduction is good and the overall image quality is okay. In proper daylight, the Galaxy M21 shoots detailed and well-metered shots.
Samsung Galaxy M21 Performance Review
The Samsung Galaxy M21 is powered by Exynos 9611. The Exynos 9611 is an octa-core processor and it consists of four high-performance ARM Cortex A-73 cores clocked at 2.3GHz and four 1.7GHz low-performance ARM A-53 cores.
The Exynos 9611 powering the phone is not particularly snappy and isn’t meant for hardcore gamers, but does feel adequate for light and moderate day-to-day usage. The M21 starts at 4GB LPDDR4x RAM + 64GB storage and there’s a 6GB + 128GB variant as well. The smartphone also has a USB Type-C port, a 3.5-mm headphone jack and an NFC chip for contactless payments.
Samsung Galaxy M21 Battery Life and Charging Review
The Samsung Galaxy M21 has a 6000mAh powerhouse. The 15W fast charging isn’t quite fast, though. You did still need around 2.5 hours to fully recharge the battery. The smartphone can easily last three work days before it dies.
Samsung Galaxy M21 Software Review
The Samsung Galaxy M21 runs Android 10 with a custom launcher from Samsung known as OneUI 2.0. Personally, I consider the well designed OneUI 2.0 software (Android 10) a massive advantage over Realme UI.
The M21 comes with a number of preinstalled third-party applications, some of which can only be disabled. However, Ads and recommendations aren’t as intrusive, and the software is feature-rich and well laid out.
If you are looking for a go-to smartphone for day-to-day usages that doesn’t die on them when needed and also offers a decent package of performance, camera and features, should definitely give the Galaxy M21 a chance.
