Samsung Galaxy F23 5G Design Review
The phone comes with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ Infinity-U LCD screen with a resolution of 1080×2408 pixels at about 400PPI, aspect ratio of 20:9.The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The Samsung Galaxy F23 5G has 120Hz refresh rate screen that offers a fluid user experience with smoother animations, scrolling and gaming. Similar to the other Samsung phones, there is an Eye comfort shield that limit blue light emitted by the screen. There is also dark mode.
Narrowing down to the button section, the power button that includes the fingerprint sensor and the volume rockers are present on the right side while the dedicated dual SIM + microSD slot is present on the left side.
It has the 3.5mm audio jack, primary microphone, USB Type-C port and the loudspeaker grill located at the bottom. Right behind the Galaxy F23 there is a triple camera module arranged in an array.
The Samsung Galaxy F23 has a plastic back with a matte finish that doesn’t attract fingerprints or smudges, and is also not prone to scratches with day-to-day use. The design is pretty attractive and can be used even without a case.
Samsung Galaxy F23 Camera Review
- 50MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture
- 8MP 123° ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture
- 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture
- 8MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture.
The Galaxy F23 camera UI is similar to other Samsung phones running Android 12 with OneUI 4.1. It has Pro mode, single take, Night mode, Food mode, Panorama, Macro mode, Slow motion, super slow-mo and hyperlapse.
The image quality of the Galaxy F23 are top notch, the day light shots are good as it captures a well detailed image, the camera creates well exposed photos with good dynamic range and detailing.
Although the phone has a 50-megapixel sensor, the final output has 12.5-megapixel resolution. Ultra-wide shots from the 8MP camera are good in daylight, but not the best in low-light. It can shoot slow motion at 720p and there is also super slow motion.

The Samsung Galaxy F23 is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 750G, it has Adreno 619 GPU with support for Open GL ES 3.2, Open CL 2.0 FP, as well as Vulkan 1.1 graphics and up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM.
The phone performs pretty good with no lagging, it gets a bit warm on intensive gaming and 4G data use, but it doesn’t get too hot to handle.
The Galaxy F23 is suitable for day-to-day usage and it is totally void of lapses.
Samsung Galaxy F23 Battery Life and Charging Review
The Galaxy F23 gets a 5000mAh battery compared to 6000mAh battery in the F22, but it is more than enough even for heavy use.
You can get over 7 cool hours of screen on time with my daily use mostly on Wi-Fi and occasionally on 4G with 2 days of use in 120Hz refresh rate.
The battery saving mode and minimizing other apps not in use will let you increase the battery life.
Samsung doesn’t offer a charger in the box, but the phone supports 25W charging. It takes about one and half hour to charge the F23 from 0% to 100%.
Samsung Galaxy F23 Software and Special Features Review
The Samsung Galaxy F23 phone runs on Android 12. It also has the latest Samsung One UI 4.1, which brings several new features that include new theme options to configure home screens, icons, notifications, wallpapers and much more.

The Samsung Galaxy F23 is a perfect option for that budget of yours.
