How do you delete your Tango account?
I could go on telling you how to delete your Tango account but that may be too much of a drastic step to take. Have you cared to check the consequences of that action? Well, if no let me bring the implications to your notice.
1. You cannot access members or view their profile with an access and in case you don’t know, your account is your access.
2. Nobody will be able to connect with you once the account is deleted. You probably know this one.
3. You can no longer login even with the mobile app. Bottom line is you lose all your info and access as far as it as to do with the account.
So, what’s my advice? Deactivate the account at least until your mind is made up.
The difference between a deactivated account and a deleted account is that while deactivation is reversible that is, the account can be reactivated, a deleted account is lost permanently.
Well, While there’s no special option on the app to do so, you could just uninstall the app from your phone. At least, you won’t have access until you’re ready to do so or otherwise delete the app when your mind is made up.
So finally, here’s how to delete your Tango Account
* Open the app
* Go to your Profile page and open settings at the bottom of the main menu.
* Click on Account settings.
* Tap delete account
* Choose the reason why you’re requesting a delete that is closest to the actual reason you have in mind and confirm your request.
In another way, you could do the following;
* Open your email that is registered and linked to your Tango account.
* Compose an email stating why you want Tango to delete byour account.
* In order for your Tango to more easily identify your account, add your Tango credentials to the body of the mail.
* After doing that set your recipients address as [email protected]
It should take around 3 days for the deletion to be effected.
