Lenovo launched the Lenovo K5 Play together with the Lenovo K5 last month. Both devices are midrange smartphones that offer great value.
Both devices look quite identical from afar, but internally they are different. Well, unlike the K5, the K5 Play sports a Snapdragon chip and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo Android OS.

Display and Design
The Lenovo K5 Play sports an aluminum frame and glass covering, this device comes with a 153.8 x 72.6 x 7.9 mm (6.06 x 2.86 x 0.31 in) dimension. With a weight of about 155g.
This amazing Smartphone has a 5.7-inch IPS LCD Capacitive touchscreen, with 16M colors. With a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels, it has an 18:9 aspect ratio (~282 ppi density).
The Lenovo K5 Play comes pre-installed with their flagship ZUI 3.7 user interface.
This device supports Multitouch too. Also, there’s a rear mounted Fingerprint Scanner, and it comes in three colors: Black, Gray, and Blue.

The Lenovo K5 Play comes with Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.
The Lenovo K5 Play is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 chipset with a 321-bit processor. It also comes with an Octa-core processor that clocks at 1.8GHz.
Furthermore, it uses an Adreno 505 GPU for graphics handling.
This amazing smartphone offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt memory in its first variant, or 2GB RAM and 16GB of inbuilt memory in its other variant.
Also, either of the variants can expand up to 128GB. With the use of a microSD card.
Other sensors on this device are proximity sensor, accelerometer, and compass.
Camera and Battery
The Lenovo K5 Play features a Dual: 13 MP (f/2.2) + 2 MP (f/2.4) rear camera with LED flash and autofocus. The camera on this device does really good when put to the test.
Upfront, there’s an 8 MP, f/2.0 camera. This camera takes wonderful selfies that will impress you. The camera on this device does better than some in the same category as it is, even without LED flash.
As for the battery life, there’s a Non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery.
Price
This device will sell for about N46,842 in Nigeria, although the price may vary.
