Not knowing one’s phone number is quite an issue with many persons even in Nigeria especially when they have multiple GLO SIM cards for instance.
Some have these many SIM cards(usually up to 4) for several reasons. For example, There’s usually one or two taken as official lines. Whereas the other(s) is/are kept for browsing purposes. This may vary from person to person anyway.
However, with such a practice very common among people, it becomes largely difficult to have all the numbers memorized and crammed off hand.
Usually, when in need, people run to their SIM parks, call their friends nearby to request for their numbers since it will display on the other device or even call customer care for this same purpose. But then these can sometimes be largely unreliable and irrelevant.
Think of it; are you always going out with your sim park? Or don’t you think it’s rather embarrassing to have to call someone before getting your number? What if you’re in a dire condition? I guess you know the answer yourself.

Possible Ways to Get Your Global Communication (GLO) GLO Number Without Having to Call Someone for it.
There are basically three ways to know your phone number
1. By dialling a number: all you’ve got to do is dial 1244 with the GLO line you intend to know its number. Almost immediately, you will hear a robotic voice reading your number out loud to you. In that case, you’ll have to write on a piece of paper.
If this doesn’t work for you, then, try the next method.
2. Dial the ussd code *777# and select the option that carries “my number”. Again, this action must be carried out with the Line whose number you seek to get. That’s to say that you can’t check a SIM’s number with another Sim card.
As good as these methods are, they still require that you write on paper which is not too different from what happens when you call a friend to get the number. Therefore, there’s yet another method I’ll be showing you now.
3. Use their online URL: if you have an active data bundle on your GLO SIM, then, you don’t need to call someone before getting your number.
All that you need to do is log in to the GLO self-care portal. Once you get access to the website (of course with the SIM in question), you will be able to see your number on the screen immediately.
