Late last Year, Infinix Mobility, a Hong-Kong based Android Phone manufacturer released the Infinix Zero 5.
The Infinix Zero 5 is the manufacturer’s first foray into the Dual-Camera category. Also, they used a 6Gb RAM for the first time.
This is the fifth installment in the Zero series by Infinix, and it was released in November 2017.
In addition, Infinix phones are also cheap, making it a preferred choice for Smartphone users in Nigeria. In this post, I’ll allow you see the qualities of this Infinix Smartphone.
Let me start with the design.
Design and Display
The Infinix Zero 5 sports a metallic body and glass front, this device comes with a 166.30 x 82.30 x 7.90mm dimension. With a weight of about 197g.
This amazing Smartphone has a 5.98-inch HD IPS LCD Capacitive touchscreen, with 16M colors. With a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, it has a 16:9 aspect ratio (~368 ppi density). Meanwhile, the screen is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass Material v3.
The Infinix Zero 5 comes pre-installed with their flagship XOS 3.0 user interface.
This Smartphone supports Multitouch too. With a rear mounted Fingerprint Scanner, it comes in three colors: Champagne Gold, Bordeaux Red, and Sandstone Black.
Hardware and Software
The Infinix Zero 5 smartphone comes with the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
Infinix Zero 5 is powered by a MediaTek MT6757 chipset with a 64-bit processor. It also comes with an Octa-core processor that clocks at 2.3GHz.
Furthermore, it uses a Mali-T880 MP2 GPU for graphics handling.
This amazing smartphone offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt memory. This memory can expand up to 128GB. With the use of a microSD card. Hence, this phone will never hang during milti-tasking.
Other features of this device are: Accelerometer, Proximity, Rear mounted Fingerprint and Light sensor.
Camera and Battery
The Infinix Zero 5 features a dual 12/2MP rear camera with LED flash and autofocus. The 12MP camera has a f/2.0 aperture with phase detection, autofocus, LED flash and Beauty-plus.
Upfront, there’s a 16MP camera with LED flash and a f/2.0 aperture. This camera takes amazing selfies that will blow your mind. The camera on this Smartphone does pretty good in low light environments. This phone is an asset for selfie lovers.
As for the battery life, there’s a Non-removable Li-Ion 4350 mAh battery. There’s also a quick charge feature which enables more screen-time and less charging.
This beauty will sell for about N91,500 in Nigeria, although the price may vary.
