The Huawei Honor Note 10 was rumored for quite a long time, it totally feels like a relief to finally see it go official. Most of its rumored specs turned out to be the truth. But Huawei surprised us with some brand new and unexpected features.
The Honor Note 10 sports a 6.95-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2220 pixels) AMOLED display with slim side bezels and a lack of notch. The display uses the HDR10 standard and boasts of a 115% NTSC color gamut coverage.
The Honor Note 10 arrives with Huawei’s in-house Kirin 970 chipset coupled with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The internal memory variants of the 6GB model are 64GB and 128GB. Meanwhile, the 8GB version sports 128GB only. There is also a provision for Micro SD cards. Huawei Honor Note 10 has a hybrid sim slot, so you’ll be giving up the dual SIM functionality.
The chipset on this device uses a liquid cooling solution. Huawei calls it “the nine”
In addition, the device supports GPU Turbo tech. And it also introduces a new CPU Turbo feature as well. Both software modifications work together to form a Double Turbo mode. Which can be launched with a press of a dedicated hardware button below.
The Honor Note 10 sports a 24MP (f/1.8) main camera on its rear. Furthermore, its aided by a 16MP (f/1.8) secondary unit. Meanwhile its front-facing camera is 13MP with a f/2.0 aperture. Also included is the AI software for scene recognition and some other AI features. The button for the Double Turbo feature can also be used as a shutter when using the camera app.
This device comes with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with EMUI 8.2 included. Lastly, this device runs on an amazing 5,000 mAh battery. Fortunately, it also supports Super Charge.
The Honor Note 10 comes in Midnight Black and Phantom Blue colors. It’s already on for pre-order in China. The actual shipments starts on August 31.
