I am sure you have seen that blue colored button in the picture below which helps you to quickly switch on or off your mobile hotspot. But before you use this button, you need to configure your hotspot like give a name and password to the network and set a number of users for the network.

You should note that you should always set a password for your mobile Hotspot to prevent everyone from having access to your mobile internet data. Also, reduce the number of users of your Hotspot to reduce the consumption of your data thereby preventing the internet speed from reducing.
Alright, time for you to set up your mobile hotspot.
- Go to Settings on your android phone by swiping down from the top of your screen
- Tap on Network & Internet
- Tap on Hotspot & tethering
- Tap on Wi-Fi hotspot
Then turn on the Wi-Fi hotspot toggle switch.
To configure your hotspot setting, like the giving name and password to your network, tap on Set up Wi-Fi hotspot.
After your configuration, tap on Save.
Ensure that you use a strong password that includes uppercase and lowercase letters with special characters and numbers. A minimum of 8 characters is needed as your password for you to save your configuration.
Avoid using your personal data as a password like your name, relatives name or generic passwords like 12345678.
Turning on your mobile hotspot increases the energy consumption of your phone thereby reducing your battery life quickly so it is advisable to plug your phone into power.
Also, if possible, set your android phone to turn off your hotspot when no devices are connected after a certain time.
