Step 1: Log in to your account
Step 2: Click your profile picture, and a drop-down menu will appear. Click “Account settings”
Step 3: This step brings you to your Profile page, click “Settings” next to “Profile” located at the top of the page.
Step 4: Scroll down, and at the bottom of the page, beneath the “Save account settings button,” you’ll see “delete my account.” Click on it.
Step 5: You’ll be taken to a page where you will decide if or not to keep your discussion posts (anonymously).
Please, note that this option is automatically chosen and must be opted out of by clicking the blue checkbox
Step 6: Click “Delete My Account”, and click “OK”

Follow these steps below to delete a Goodreads Account through the Goodreads App:
Step 1: Log in to your account.
Step 2: Click the menu bar button (three horizontal lines close to “Updates”.
Step 3: Click “Settings” at the bottom of the menu bar
Step 4: Click “Account Settings.” At this point, you can be asked to confirm your password.
Step 5: Click “Account”
Step 6: Click “Delete my account”
At this point, you have to decide whether or not to keep your discussion posts (anonymously).
This option is automatically chosen and must be opted out of by clicking the green “on” button.
Step 7: Click “Delete my account” again, and finally, click “Yes, delete my account”
