Hi there! In a previous post, I talked about the step by step approach to deleting your Skout account.
However, in this post, I will be showing you how to recover your blocked Skout account
Skout is a social media app that can be used for dating but is not primarily a hookup app since it is geosocial in nature. Can you search for someone on Skout?
Of course! All you’ve got to do is open the app and tap on the magnifying glass in the top right corner of the main screen.
When this happens, enter the name or email address of the person you’re looking for. If they use Skout, their profile will appear among the results.
It’s available in 16 different languages and allows users to contact each other based on many other reasons apart from just physical proximity.
In 2016, the company MeetMe(a global mobile app which allows users to meet new people) acquired the Skout company for $35 million and took ownership of it.
In April 2017, another company acquired and rebranded the company to the Meet group. In 2020, the Meet group was again acquired by ProsienbenSat.

Getting Blocked Skout Account Back
One reason why your account could have been blocked could be that Skout was looking into all their user’s accounts and deleting all persons under the age of 18. Are you above 18? If yes, then, you might as well have posted some inappropriate content to the Skout site and as such your account was blocked.
So how do you get your account unblocked? Simply send a mail to the Meet group email- [email protected] and lay your complaints/ask your questions giving courteous and honest statements in a bid to get what you want- unblocking your account.
