Earlier this year, Alcatel released the Alcatel 3V Android Smartphone. Alcatel 3V is an upper-mid-range Android device with facial unlock features. Alcatel 3V also has an 18:9 display, which is surprising considering the fact that it is a cheap smartphone

The Alcatel 3v is one of a number of new smartphones from the Alcatel and this is one of the strongest in the lineup. Boasting of a 6-inch QHD display, 4G connectivity, rear fingerprint scanner It also has rear dual-cameras and a pretty good battery.

Design and Display

Alcatel 3V sports a plastic design with a shiny gloss finish on its rear. In addition, it feels solid in the hand. Meanwhile, due to its size, it’s not really usable with just one hand.

Alcatel 3V is powered by a MediaTek MT8735A chipset with a 32-bit processor. It also comes with a Quad-core processor configured at 1.45 GHz Cortex-A53.

Furthermore, it uses a Mali-T720MP2 GPU for graphics handling.

This device offers 2Gb of RAM and 16/32Gb of inbuilt memory. Which can be expanded to 128Gb via a microSD card.

Other sensors on this device are Fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass sensors.

Camera and Battery

Alcatel 3V features a Dual: 12 MP (f/2.2, 1/2.8″, 1.25 μm, PDAF) + 2 MP (f/2.4, 1/5″, FF) camera. With phase detection autofocus, and LED flash.

Upfront, there’s a 5 MP, 1080p camera, with LED Flash. This camera takes crisp selfies that’ll make you happy.

As for battery life, there’s a Non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery.
